Lexitrail Privacy Policy

Effective date: 17 October 2026

This policy explains what data the mobile word search game Lexitrail ("the game") uses, why, and what choices you have. It applies to every version of the game on iOS and Android.

1. Who is responsible

The data controller is Ardevtek Yazılım. You can reach us about anything in this policy at info@ardevtek.com.

2. The short version

  • The game has no accounts of its own. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or age.
  • Your game progress is stored only on your device. There is no cloud save and no game server.
  • The game shows ads: rewarded ads that you choose to watch (for example for an extra hint, double coins or extra time), and occasional full-screen ads between levels. There are no banner ads.
  • You can buy a one-time "Remove ads" purchase through the App Store or Google Play. We never see your payment details.
  • One third-party service receives data from the game: Google AdMob (ads). If you are signed in to Game Center on iOS, your scores and achievements also go to Apple.
  • The game has no analytics and no crash reporting.
  • We do not sell your personal data.

3. Data that stays on your device

The following is stored only on your device and is never sent to us. It is deleted when you uninstall the game.

  • Game progress: the levels you have solved in each category and mode, your stars, unlocked categories, a puzzle you left unfinished, your statistics, and how many duels you have played and won. The computer rival in duels runs on your device.
  • Coins and hints you have earned or have left.
  • Daily Spiral: your result for each day (time, hints used, score) and your streak.
  • Settings: sound, music, vibration, reduce motion, the daily reminder and the language.
  • How many rewarded ads you have watched today (rewarded ads are limited per day) and when you last saw a full-screen ad.
  • Whether you have bought "Remove ads".
  • Daily reminder: if you switch it on, the game asks for notification permission and your device schedules a local reminder. No server is involved and no push token is created.
  • Sharing: when you share a Daily Spiral result, the game opens your device's share menu with a short text (if the menu is not available, the text is copied to the clipboard). You choose the app and the person. A Daily Spiral result contains the game's name, the date, a row of symbols showing the order in which you found the words, your time, the number of hints and your streak. The game does not keep or send the text anywhere itself.

4. Data shared with others

Google AdMob

  • What: advertising identifier (on iOS the IDFA only if you allow tracking; on Android the advertising ID), IP address and the approximate location derived from it, device and app information, ad interactions, and performance and diagnostic data from the ads software.
  • Why: to show and measure the ads, to limit how often you see them, and to prevent fraud.
  • Legal basis: your consent where the law requires it (EEA, UK, Switzerland; iOS tracking permission). Personalised ads are shown only with that consent.

Google processes this data under its own terms and may process it outside your country, including in the United States. You can read how Google uses data from apps that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

In-app purchase (Apple App Store, Google Play)

  • What: when you buy or restore "Remove ads", the payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google. The game only receives confirmation that the purchase is valid; it never receives your name, payment card or billing details.
  • Why: to switch off full-screen ads and to restore the purchase on a new device or after reinstalling.
  • Legal basis: performance of the purchase you make. Apple (apple.com/legal/privacy) and Google (policies.google.com/privacy) process the payment under their own privacy policies.

Apple Game Center (iOS)

  • What: if you are signed in to Game Center, your Game Center player identity is used, your scores (such as your Daily Spiral score) go to the game's leaderboards and your achievements are recorded.
  • Why: to show leaderboards and achievements.
  • Legal basis: you choose to use Game Center. Apple processes this data under its own privacy policy (apple.com/legal/privacy). We do not receive your Game Center data.

The Android version does not use Google Play Games.

5. How long data is kept

  • Data on your device: until you uninstall the game.
  • AdMob data: according to Google's retention policies (see the links above).
  • Purchase records: kept by Apple or Google according to their policies, so that you can restore your purchase.
  • Game Center data: according to Apple's policies, while you use Game Center.

6. Your choices

  • Consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland): the game asks for your consent before ads are loaded. Where this applies, you can change your choice at any time in the game under Settings → Privacy options.
  • iOS tracking: the game asks for your permission to track. You can allow or deny it, and change it later in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. The game works the same either way.
  • Android advertising ID: you can reset or delete it in your device settings under Google → Ads (the exact path depends on the device).
  • Rewarded ads are optional: you can play the whole game without watching them.
  • Remove ads: the one-time purchase switches off full-screen ads. Rewarded ads remain available as an option. You can restore it in the game under Settings → Restore purchases.
  • Game Center: you can sign out in iOS Settings → Game Center. The game works without it.
  • Daily reminder: switch it off in the game under Settings, or turn off notifications for the game in your device settings.
  • Delete your data: uninstalling the game removes everything stored on your device. To ask about data held by Google, contact us (see below).

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR or Turkey's Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, KVKK), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Because the game has no accounts, we usually cannot link data to you personally; if you contact us we will help you exercise these rights, including with Google, and reply within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority (in Turkey: the Personal Data Protection Authority, KVKK).

8. Children

The game is made for a general audience and is not designed specifically for children. It does not ask for age and does not ask anyone for personal information. If you are a parent or guardian and have a question about your child's data, contact us and we will help, including with requests to Google.

9. Changes to this policy

If what the game collects changes, we update this page at the same address and change the effective date above.
